• Turn on automatic updates

3) Reduce oversharing (without killing the fun)New parents take thousands of photos. You should.
But babies can’t consent, and the internet doesn’t forget.
Safer sharing tips:

• Avoid bath photos
• Don’t post full name + birthdate together
• Don’t show your address (mail, packages, house numbers)
• Don’t post daycare names or routines

4) Fix your phone photo privacy settingsThis is one of the biggest accidental privacy leaks for new parents.
Do this:

• Turn off location tagging in your camera settings
• Check iCloud / Google Photos sharing
• Make sure shared albums aren’t public links

5) Make your parenting apps saferMost parents use at least one:
