✅ The 10-Minute Digital Childproofing Checklist1) Secure your baby monitorBaby monitors are one of the most common weak spots in home tech.
Do this:
  • Change the password
  • Turn on 2-factor authentication (if available)
  • Update the firmware in the app settings
  • Make sure sharing links are OFF

2) Lock down your home Wi-FiYour Wi-Fi is the “front door” to your baby monitor and smart devices.
Do this:
  • Change your router admin password

  • Turn off location tagging in your camera settings

5) Make your parenting apps saferMost parents use at least one:

  • feeding logs

Quick safety wins:
  • Use strong passwords
  • Turn off unnecessary permissions (location/mic)
  • Don’t reuse important passwords
6) Add one simple family ruleThis rule prevents a lot of risk:
Don’t log into baby monitor apps, baby trackers, or medical portals on public Wi-Fi.
Coffee shops, airports, and hotel Wi-Fi aren’t worth it.
If you need to check something, use your phone hotspot.
